About the Job: The Technical Support Team Lead is responsible for coordinating all IT and communication-related activities between UAE branches and the head office. The role ensures the availability of computer systems, user applications, and software across UAE branches. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems through regular updates and upgrades.
  • Aligning user needs with system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Identifying problematic areas and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Preserving IT-related assets and ensuring proper controls are in place to protect the IT inventory and align with information security requirements.
  • Contributing to annual budget monitoring and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Providing solutions and support for all business user queries and issues.
  • Inspecting and monitoring branch servers and workstations for functionality and efficiency.
  • Administering and managing payment applications and ensuring compliance with business, bank, and central bank guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred professional qualifications: ITIL, Cloud Computing, Customer Support, AWS Technical Essentials, Network Essential (CCNA), COBIT, or related certifications.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in a bank in a similar role.
  • Overall 7+ years of experience in IT support, with current role as Lead.
