As a Technical Team Lead, you will lead a team of developers working on our ambitious AI Platform as a Service offering. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring coordination with product and project managers to reach development targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Backend and Frontend developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-driven applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and design to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Work with a project manager to define technical roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and drive sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Identify technical risks early, propose effective solutions, and ensure continuous improvement of system architecture.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in developing peer-to-peer (P2P) applications, ensuring efficient data synchronization and network resilience.
- Perform regular code reviews and optimization initiatives for performance and scalability.
- Stay current with AI trends, integrating relevant advancements into product features and technical strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Past experience leading the development of a SaaS or PaaS platform.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript development, including frameworks like Node.js, React.js, or Next.js.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing AI-powered applications, with knowledge of AI/ML concepts, libraries, and APIs.
- Desirable experience in building P2P applications or distributed systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in leading JavaScript engineering teams and collaborating with data science and AI teams is highly desirable.
