Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, VMS platforms, and associated equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimum system performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to CCTV cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, monitoring stations, and security systems.
- Carry out cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation for CCTV and security system installations.
- Monitor system performance, verify image quality, and ensure full operational functionality of security surveillance systems.
- Support the integration and maintenance of access control, intrusion detection, and other ELV/security systems where required.
- Coordinate with Security, IT, Operations, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements.
- Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and system documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, permit-to-work requirements, and oil & gas industry regulations while performing all assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification in CCTV Systems, Security Systems, Networking, or ELV systems is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Power, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV surveillance systems.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, fiber optic systems, and structured cabling.
