About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance while testing all Plant Instrument Process Monitoring and Control Protective equipment in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Instrument & Control Maintenance
    • Carry out routine and preventive maintenance work, along with repair and testing of equipment in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards to meet the requirements of work requests or work orders.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance activities and participate in assigned plant shutdown activities, ensuring the timely completion of job tasks.
    • Verify completed maintenance activities to confirm they meet requirements and complete the maintenance activity sheet.
    • Perform inspections and maintain vigilance to identify any developing issues in the assigned area, promptly reporting any problems.
    • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test various types of process control instruments and relay logic to ensure instrumentation systems operate as designed.
    • Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance on all equipment on site, both during scheduled and unscheduled machine shutdowns, to guarantee the reliable availability of all equipment during operation and prevent unexpected interruptions.
    • Execute field and/or system modifications of control elements and/or control loops according to plant change requests and assist in updating all related plant drawings to reflect actual changes, thereby enhancing plant operations in accordance with the management of change procedure.
    • Aid in upgrading and retrofitting of new control instruments to existing panels in the field and main control room as required for the completion of modifications and the Process Control Room (PCR) in alignment with standards.

Minimum Qualification

  • Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • Direct Reports: As per organization chart.
  • Indirect Reports: As per organization chart.

Professional Certifications

  • As applicable.
