Responsibilities
- Instrument & Control Maintenance
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance work, repair and testing of equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards to fulfil the requirements of work requests or work orders.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and participate in assigned plant shutdown activities, ensuring timely completion of job activities.
- Verify completed maintenance activities to ensure that work is performed as required and complete the maintenance activity sheet.
- Conduct inspections to identify any developing problems in the assigned area and report these issues.
- Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test various types of process control instruments and relay logic to maintain the instrumentation systems as designed.
- Execute preventive and emergency maintenance on all equipment on site, during both scheduled and unscheduled machine shutdowns, to ensure reliable conditions and to prevent unforeseen downtime.
- Implement field and/or system modifications of control elements and/or control loops as per plant change requests and assist in updating all related plant drawings to reflect actual changes, enhancing plant operation per management of change procedures.
- Assist in the upgrade and retrofitting of new control instruments to existing panels in the field and main control room as required for the completion of modifications in line with standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
