About the Role
Perform preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance, and testing of all Plant Instrument Process Monitoring, Control Protective equipment with applicable procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities
Instrument & Control Maintenance

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance work, repair, and testing of equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to fulfill work request or work order requirements.
• Participate in assigned plant shutdown activities, ensuring timely completion of job activities.
• Verify completed maintenance activities to ensure compliance with requirements, completing the maintenance activity sheet.
• Conduct inspections to identify developing problems in the assigned area and report any issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test various types of process control instruments and relay logic to maintain instrumentation systems as designed.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on all equipment on site during scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns to ensure equipment reliability during operations and prevent unforeseen trips.
• Execute field and/or system modifications of control elements and/or control loops per plant change requests, updating related plant drawings to reflect actual changes, enhancing plant operation in line with management of change procedures.
• Assist in upgrading and retrofitting new control instruments to existing panels in the field and main control room as necessary for modification and PCR completion in line with standards.

• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to accomplish operational objectives.

Training

• Provide on-the-job training to meet competency-based training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Tool Box

• Maintain all tools, safety gear, and equipment provided by the company in safe and working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be functioning properly.

Time Management

• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources are required to complete the job within the assigned time frame.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to identifying areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in operating procedures, functional processes, machinery, or equipment.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines per international standards, best practices, and the company Code of Practices.
• Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment before, during, and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports

• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs for preparing Section progress reports for management.
• Provide input for preparing Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

Internal Communications & Working Relationships

• Maintain contact with line manager/peers and other employees within the company/group as required.

External Communications & Working Relationships

• Engage with external parties including consultants, third-party service providers, and government agencies as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• 4 years of experience.
• Revenues/Budget: As per approved financial budget.
• Direct Reports: As per organization chart.
• Indirect Reports: As per organization chart.

Professional Certifications

• As applicable.

• A/C environment; exposure to prevailing weather conditions such as heat, humidity, and dust during occasional site visits.
