Technician, Operations Services

Carry out preparations for well workover, carry out survey, prepare drawings, dismantle surface facilities, and tie-in surface facilities post workover with adequate technical knowledge, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with established safety rules and regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• Carry out survey of the surface facilities of the workover well, prepare schematic drawings indicating the pipe supports and other installations with measurements.
• Dismantle and reinstate the surface facilities such as pipelines, supports, CP cable, and associated fittings up to 100m radius from wellhead.
• Coordinate with the pipeline team for minor modification work for piping and fittings under close supervision. Produce schematics to enable updating and production of “as built” drawings.
• Ensure the provision of adequate supply of materials, spares, and consumable items in local stores, and raise necessary documentation for issuing stock items and/or procurement of direct purchase items.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining efficient workshop services in support of well services activities.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records, files, and statements related to well services and administrative matters as assigned.
• Follow the department’s KPIs and ensure requirements are met.
• Utilize resources properly and avoid standby time.
• Ensure the safety of subordinates working under your control.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum Qualification: Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.
• Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
