About the Role
We are looking for an ELV Systems Technician to carry out necessary preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electronic equipment and systems within Dubai Airports. This role involves working individually or as part of a technical team, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while adhering to technical and safety instructions provided by staff. You will be expected to conform to policy and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare for yourself and others.

Key Accountabilities
- Conform to all general and specific technical safety requirements to ensure health, safety, and welfare at work.
- Possess knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understand and interpret Local and International Electronic Standards and Regulations.
- Raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports, and CMMS work orders.
- Adopt a logical or methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault finding on electronic/ELV systems.
- Setup and use electrical test equipment correctly and interpret the test results on integrated electronic/ELV systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain security and integrity of data, including performance, finance, and customer information, adhering to non-disclosure policies.
- Exercise personal duty of care for your health, safety, and welfare as well as for those affected by your actions.
- Report any accidents, incidents, breaches, or potential breaches to appropriate management.
Specific Requirements
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Electronic System Maintenance or equivalent.
- IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
- Current valid UAE driving license is desirable.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in electronics/ELV maintenance or a similar environment.
- Airport experience is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and customers in both oral and written English.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Ability to safely perform tasks on complex extra low (ELV) equipment and systems.
