Technician, Telecom (Maintenance)

The Technician, Telecom (Maintenance) will ensure the healthiness, reliability, and integrity of telecom equipment and systems. This includes carrying out required health checks, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance in line with Standard Operating Procedures. The role involves responding to work requests/work orders in a timely manner as assigned by the Telecom Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all maintenance activities related to Telecom systems, including troubleshooting equipment failures and conducting root cause analysis.
• Recommend resolutions in coordination with the Telecom Engineer and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• UAE National
• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate
• 5+ years of experience as a Telecom Technician, including experience with troubleshooting Telecom Systems such as SDH, DWDM, CCTV, PAGA, and Networks.
• Experience in managing Telecom maintenance activities within Oil and Gas Fields.
