Technician – TV Technical Support

About the Job: The Technician for TV Technical Support will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of broadcast equipment and providing technical support during live broadcasts. This position requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting various technical issues, as well as performing maintenance and installation tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper connection of cables and interfaces between different pieces of equipment, including signal route and network configurations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues related to TV hardware, including picture quality issues, sound problems, connectivity issues, and installation challenges.
• Provide immediate technical support during live broadcasts to minimize interruptions, fixing equipment malfunctions or adjusting broadcast signals in real time.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting techniques using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Test and maintain broadcast equipment (e.g., camera, pedestals, lenses).
• Replace or repair faulty electronic components as needed.
• Prepare all the needed cabling (Video, Audio, and Data) for installation including crimping and soldering.
• Document technical issues and resolutions thoroughly for future reference and knowledge sharing.

• Experience Required: 3-5 Years
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Language Requirements: Excellent in English
