Technician VI, Instrument

An exciting opportunity is available for an Instrument Technician located in Jubail. The Instrument Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities related to instrumentation. The role requires proficiency in troubleshooting and instrument repair, as well as adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Performing preventive maintenance of instrument equipment.
• Issuing and closing work permits.
• Troubleshooting and repairing instrument equipment.
• Utilizing SAP for closing and updating assigned work orders.
• Taking on leadership tasks as a lead technician if required.
• Reviewing preventive maintenance procedures for all assigned equipment.
• Conducting calibration of hard communicators or transmitters.
• Performing SIL testing.
• Utilizing knowledge in PLC.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors.
