The Instrument Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities related to instrumentation. Role Responsibilities:
- Performing preventive maintenance of instrument equipment.
- Issuing and closing work permits.
- Troubleshooting and repairing instrument equipment.
- Utilizing SAP for closing and updating assigned work orders.
- Taking on leadership tasks as a lead technician if required.
- Reviewing preventive maintenance procedures for all assigned equipment.
- Conducting calibration of hard communicators or transmitters.
- Performing SIL testing.
- Utilizing knowledge in PLC.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors.

- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in instrumentation and control systems.
- High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet high standards.
