Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: X+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant with a mix of functional and technical responsibilities.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with API testing, JSON/XML payloads, and system architectures.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Oracle/SAP).
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in conducting gap analyses, feasibility studies, and process mapping.
- Methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, writing user stories, and managing backlog items.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and observations to capture detailed business and technical requirements.
- Specification & Documentation: Translate business rules into comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), User Stories, and data-mapping matrices.
- System Integration & Design: Design system workflows, evaluate technical constraints, and coordinate with developers on API implementations, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Data Analysis & Validation: Perform SQL queries, data profiling, and data reconciliation to investigate system issues, validate data integrity, and support ETL/migration processes.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Create test plans and test cases; coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
