With multiple campuses, it plays a collaborative role with Weill Cornell Medical College - Qatar to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services for women and children in a patient-centered, highly collaborative environment. The Department encompasses a variety of services, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiography, Intraoperative MRI, CT, Nuclear medicine, and PET/CT, aiming to create a substantive referral center for patients within and outside Qatar.

Responsibilities
- Plans, prioritizes, and organizes Ultrasound workload, ensuring necessary patient care for patients of all ages.
- Ensures adherence to systems and standards promoting patient safety and safe practices in delivering patient care for the modality.
- Performs all routine and specialized Ultrasound procedures independently based on the workload in the rostered area.
- Assesses referrals for Ultrasound examinations, taking responsibility for minimizing unnecessary ionizing radiation exposure and determining appropriate diagnostic imaging methods.
- Participates in standby and on-call roster systems for Diagnostic Imaging services in designated areas.
- Provides departmental support and relief for managers as required.
- Maintains accurate records of all imaging received by patients using the designated systems.
- Supports the Supervisor - Ultrasound in managing and maintaining the expertise of the team and reducing equipment faults/issues.
- Implements changes to improve service quality and comply with internal, external, and legal standards.
- Involved in training and developing new employees in operations and procedures according to departmental objectives.
- Participates in quality improvement programs and competency assessment initiatives for Diagnostic Imaging services.
- Engages in mandatory training and continuous professional development to maintain professional licensure/accreditation.
- Monitors stock levels for consumables related to the Ultrasound service.
- Promotes compliance with hospital radiation safety, protection, and MRI safety policies.
- Demonstrates flexibility and organization under stressful situations.
- Represents the organization professionally and maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Attends divisional and other meetings as required.
- Adheres to the company's standards in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
- Promotes the company's Values in all aspects of work.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an accredited healthcare or related environment.
