Technology Development Manager

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of technology development experience, including at least 4 years in Mendix delivery management roles. This experience includes familiarity with software product development life cycles. Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously is also required.

Requirements

• A bachelor of science degree in engineering, software engineering, or a related field is required.
• A relevant master's degree will reduce experience requirements.
• Extensive experience in software delivery projects from end to end.
• Ability to run multifunctional teams (Development, Quality, Business Analysts, Technical writers, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of integration techniques and protocols.
• Familiar with microservices architecture and cloud-native environments.
• Ability to manage multinational teams, as well as hire and train new teams.
• Understanding of how to efficiently distribute workloads and allocate resources.
• People management skills are a must.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentations and technical writing in English.
• Familiar with architecture patterns and different deployment options.
• Efforts sizing and estimation skills for all aspects of software delivery projects are highly required.
• Familiarity with hiring and training best practices.
