The Technology Director for MedTech Surgery Emerging Markets (covering regions such as MEA, CEE, South Africa, Turkey, Russia, and CIS) acts as a business strategist and technologically-minded leader. This position involves close collaboration with the regional MedTech leadership team to shape growth strategies, modernize platforms, and deliver differentiated digital and AI capabilities for our customers and patients. Your role is pivotal in aligning business strategy with technological execution, ensuring that technology serves as a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a regional technology strategy for Surgery aligned with MedTech business goals.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for tech-driven growth and efficiency.
• Oversee the technology portfolio for the region, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery of initiatives.
• Lead a high-performing team of product, engineering, and data leaders, fostering an inclusive and innovative culture.
• Manage budgets and ensure compliance with quality, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years in technology leadership with experience in product and operations leadership.
• Solid understanding of technology application in solving business problems, with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in product management and agile delivery with technology platforms such as ERP and CRM.

Preferred:

• Exposure to MedTech Surgery domains including digital surgery and robotics.
• Proven ability to lead and hire top talent, with strong presence and change leadership skills.

Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Travel: Up to ~20% domestic and international travel.
