The company IT is undergoing a leading digital transformation that will drive efficiency across all units. The Network, Datacenter and Security division is an integral part of this activity, and will be responsible to drive the continuous product engineering lifecycle of a defined set of technologies that will deliver a standard stack of consumable products within the company's Datacenters in the following areas:

  • Network Security: covering IPSec, ACLs, routing protocol authentication.
  • Network and Voice: covering Data Network Switching & Routing, Voice Infrastructure and all telecom links across all locations and Datacenters.
  • Datacenter: covering all Datacenters, server rooms, IDFs facilities own or rented by the company.

The Unit’s key objectives are to onboard and maintain the selected products Faster, Better and Cheaper.

The company is looking for a Technology Engineer to develop and maintain functional and secure networks. He will collaborate within a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks for business needs.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the enterprise network infrastructure of the organization. He should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. The ideal candidate must have work experience in Network Routing, Switching, Aruba Wi-Fi implementation, NAC setup through CPPM, and maintaining Cisco ISE Tacacs. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of configuring and deploying network devices in a new or existing location. Good to have skills include Automation, understanding of Silverpeak WAN-Optimizer, Cloud Networking, and Cisco ACI fabric. A passion for security and data protection is essential. The ultimate goal will be to establish a high-performance stable network environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure Enterprise LAN/WAN Network.
  • Configure new Network Routers or Switches for fresh implementation.
  • Troubleshoot existing network in case of an incident and solve the problem.
  • Understand network connectivity and protocols.
  • Implement Routing Protocols and concepts.
  • Configure a new network Switch, upgrade it, and secure the switch by closing vulnerabilities.
  • Document design and processes to maintain the network.
  • Understand Cisco ISE Tacacs setup.
  • Maintain network devices through Tacacs.
  • Clean up and enhance ISE performance.
  • Manage existing users and arrange proper access on network devices through Cisco ISE.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent.
  • More important than a degree is a foundation of hands-on, applicable experience.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing (not consuming) network solutions for enterprise networks.
  • 3+ years exposure to network engineering or operations with strong working experience in switching, routing, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with the following platforms: Cisco, Solarwinds, Cisco ISE, Switching, and Routing.
  • Experience with Aruba Silverpeak, Wi-Fi, and CPPM.
  • Ability to read and understand network topologies, identifying bottlenecks and choke points for the protocols operating on L1 through L7 of the OSI model.
  • Experience delivering within an Agile framework.
  • Ability to navigate and conduct changes in a heavily regulated environment, with a good understanding of tight change management practices.
  • Encouragement and building of automated processes wherever possible.
  • Incident management and strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A design thinker comfortable with vagueness and unknowns.
  • A collaborator and co-creator with others.
  • Self-motivated, open to feedback, experimentation, and learning.
  • Passionate about finding the right problems and designing the right solutions.
