Key Responsibilities:
- Standardize a stack of products across the company Datacenters to meet diverse workload demands.
- Ensure compliance with the Group IT Technology Stack and reduce non-standard products in the environment.
- Drive automation for installation and configuration of standard stack components.
- Lead code reviews and create actionable strategies, roadmaps, and backlogs for the Standard Technology Stack.
- Automate installations to achieve zero-touch unattended deployment.
- Enhance operational stability and address problem tickets, risks, and audit items within the products backlog.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of Linux internals (preferably RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows internals.
- Comprehensive understanding of DevOps/SRE, IaC, and 12 Factor Principles.
- Extensive experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (KVM, Libvirt, oVirt, KubeVirt, OVM, OpenStack).
- Familiarity with repository and artifact management tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
- Understanding of DNS, SSL communication, Active Directory, load balancers, and high availability.
- Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Experience with GITOPS-driven configuration management and deployment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
- Ability to architect and implement software enhancing stability, scalability, and availability of products.
- Problem-solving skills to create solutions and automation for recurring issues.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 10 years in a relevant technical position within large organizations, with hands-on automation knowledge.
- Banking background is highly preferred.
