Technology Engineer - Remedy (UAEN)

Emirates NBD, a leading financial services brand in the UAE, is seeking a Technology Engineer - Remedy (UAEN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and administration of Remedy Smart IT version 19.X on a day-to-day basis, including upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to the current system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and administer Remedy ITSM applications and ensure optimal performance through updates, monitoring, and administration tasks.
• Customize Remedy applications and integrate with third-party applications using web services and APIs.
• Perform installation, upgrades, configuration, and data loads for BMC Remedy applications.
• Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and adhere to best practices in software engineering.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities aligned with the Group’s business strategy.
• Foster professional relationships with stakeholders and promote a culture of quality management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in supporting Remedy ITSM applications.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX and Oracle; comfortable with Linux shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with BMC Remedy ITSM suite (19.x) and customization of related applications.
• Knowledge of banking IT systems and applications, as well as experience in disaster recovery planning.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and operating systems (e.g., SQL, Java, .NET, Visual Basic).
• IT-based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience.
