Technology Engineer - Remedy (UAEN)

Emirates NBD, a market leader in financial services across the MENAT region, is seeking a Technology Engineer for Remedy Smart IT version 19.X. This role focuses on the development and administration of the Remedy platform, including upgrades, integrations, and enhancements. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Remedy development, administration, and core objects and workflows.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, upgrade, configuration, feature design, development, and data loads for BMC Remedy applications.
• Program workflows, enhancements, and integrations with BMC Remedy AR, CMDB, ITSM, SRM, SLM, Smart Reporting & Smart IT.
• Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest BMC Remedy technology.
• Customize BMC Remedy applications and triage and fix defects.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and manage complex tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Very good knowledge of banking IT systems and applications.
• Experience in disaster recovery and contingency plans.
• Hands-on administration experience with BMC Remedy ITSM suite (19.x).
• Comfortable knowledge of UNIX, MS Windows, SQL, Java, .NET, and Visual Basic.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining forms, custom workflows, and backend scripts.
• Knowledge of integration with third-party applications using web services and APIs.
• IT-based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience required.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is essential for this role.
