As a Technology Manager in the Technology team, you will focus on technology operations, risk management, resilience, and regulatory readiness. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams, as well as local regulators, you will ensure that our platforms align with regulatory requirements and group standards. Your responsibilities will involve shaping the future of finance through the following tasks:
- Coordinating UAE infrastructure and network workstreams, including network connectivity and operational readiness
- Supporting the Head of Technology in the local data localization program
- Partnering with Group DevOps, Network, and product engineering teams to implement UAE requirements
- Running operational governance, including incident management and service reviews
- Ensuring compliance with technology control requirements and managing technology risk
What You'll Need:
- 4+ years of experience in tech risk, operational resilience, IT project delivery, IT governance, or tech architecture within financial services or consulting
- Understanding of UAE payment rails and integrations, along with project management experience
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and technology controls across various services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving and time management abilities
- Basic understanding of AWS/GCP, networking fundamentals, and SDLC
- Fluency in English is required
Nice to Have:
- Expertise in AWS and/or GCP
- Experience in a solution or technical architect role
- Proficiency with tools for delivery and reporting, such as Jira/Confluence and SQL
