Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and modernize legacy monitoring tools (e.g., BMC MainView, SolarWinds) into a unified observability stack using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Elastic Stack.
- Implement end-to-end visibility across infrastructure, applications, and user experience layers.
- Enable AIOps capabilities such as event correlation, noise reduction, and predictive analytics using Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM to automate incident creation, enrichment, and root cause analysis.
- Design and maintain automation playbooks and runbooks using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
- Develop self-healing pipelines and automated remediation for common operational issues.
- Deploy observability frameworks including logs, metrics, and traces using Elastic Stack and Dynatrace.
- Define and monitor service reliability metrics such as SLOs, MTTR, and error budgets.
- Build dashboards and visualizations in Grafana, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- Redesign ITSM processes (event, incident, change, problem) for greater automation and proactive operations.
- Align observability workflows with ServiceNow CMDB and CI health insights.
Key Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, or infrastructure consulting.
- 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in AIOps, observability, and automation.
- Proven experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Elastic Stack, and BMC tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and/or Ansible.
- Deep understanding of observability architecture, SRE metrics (MTTR, alert fatigue), and automation pipelines.
- Familiarity with ITOM/ITSM processes and ServiceNow integration.
