As a Brand Partner Specialist for Technology Sales – Power and Storage, your mission is to engage the right technical, co-marketing, and go-to-market enablement resources to support your assigned partners. You will drive prospecting, opportunity identification, and solution co-creation for their clients. Your role involves growing revenue in your assigned brand portfolio by increasing partner sales activities and overall go-to-market sales execution. You will work closely with partners to influence their sales, technical, and practice leads, ensuring they adopt and co-create solutions using IBM brand offerings over competitive alternatives.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Establish trusted advisor status with assigned ‘Sell’ partners through professional relationship development.
  • Develop partner plans that identify strategic growth areas, revenue objectives, and key milestones for success.
  • Collaborate with local country/market sales teams and technical teams to activate joint go-to-market plans for high-value engagements.
  • Enable partner capabilities by implementing skills plans, co-marketing strategies, and leveraging promotions.
  • Make meaningful contributions by collaborating with others to deliver results.
  • Negotiate commitments to solutions while maintaining integrity and relationships.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Expertise in building and going to market with technology partner sales offerings.
  • Proven successful history of co-selling with partners in front of their clients.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Consistent track record of achieving targets and showcasing high performance.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Comprehensive understanding of IBM’s product suite (full training provided).
  • Knowledge of IBM’s competitive differentiations and market positioning.
