Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain IT systems across the organization, focusing on core platforms such as Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, and Cloudflare.
- Source and evaluate new tooling, running vendor assessments and managing procurement to implement necessary business solutions.
- Own the lifecycle of existing vendor contracts, ensuring renewal dates, terms, and costs are kept current, and proactively flagging renegotiation opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact for vendor account and contract matters.
- Collaborate with IT Operations to translate their operational needs into system configuration and tooling decisions.
- Autonomously run projects while keeping senior management informed and engaged when their input is required.
- Participate in an IT on-call rotation and provide support to IT Operations as needed.
Must Have
- 7+ years' experience in IT engineering or a similar technical role, preferably in SaaS-heavy, regulated environments.
- A solid understanding of modern IT stacks in regulated environments, especially regarding SaaS, identity, and endpoint platforms.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts, including evaluation, procurement, renewal, and negotiation.
- Ability to work independently on projects with minimal input from senior management while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
- Comfort operating in a small, high-ownership team.
- Familiarity with financial services, crypto, or digital assets.
- Experience with tools such as Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, or Cloudflare Zero Trust.
- Understanding of ITSM/change tooling (JSM or similar).
