Key Responsibilities
- Drive a rigorous and structured approach to identifying and solving complex technology business problems that leads to strategic insights.
- Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities at the intersection of business and technology based on assessment activities and an understanding of high-level visions, performance gaps, and needs.
- Independently lead small engagements or streams of work end-to-end, focusing on client satisfaction, value delivered, team management, and financials.
- Identify and nurture pull-through business opportunities, supporting business development efforts with clients and internal teams until successful sale closure.
- Collaborate with clients and within the organization to align their business and technology priorities.
- Develop content knowledge and share insights through proactive involvement in technology strategy operations and communities of practice.
- Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative insights, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations on market-relevant technology strategy domains.
- Interact with senior management at clients or within the organization to steer recommendations and obtain buy-in on matters that may require alternate approaches.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT/Digital technology strategy.
- Relevant consulting experience or strong in-house IT & Digital strategy/enterprise architecture background, with advanced startup or pre-sales roles demonstrating intrinsic consulting skills.
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English.
- Strong data-driven consulting with a focus on business and technology value architecting and realization.
- Ability to independently determine methods and procedures on assignments.
- Experience managing team efforts, either at a client or within the organization.
- Ability to identify and pull-through business opportunities.
- Familiarity with core technology strategy offerings: IT & Digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, operating model, data & analytics, and cloud.
- Experience in technology advisory and/or implementation.
- Ability to operate across industries, with preferred experience in Banking, Telcos, Oil & Gas, and/or Government.
- Proactively acquired business knowledge beyond technical role or via business school (e.g., MBA).
