Key Responsibilities
- Drive rigorous and structured approach to identifying and solving complex technology business problems that leads to strategic insights.
- Identify/prioritize value creation opportunities at the intersection of business and technology based on assessment activities and an understanding of high-level visions, performance gaps, and needs.
- Independently lead small engagements or streams of work from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction, value delivery, team management, and financial oversight.
- Identify and nurture pull-through business opportunities, support business development efforts with clients and internal teams until successful sale closure.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align business and technology priorities.
- Develop content knowledge and share through proactive involvement in technology strategy operations and communities of practice.
- Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets presenting innovative insights, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations on specific market-relevant technology strategy domains.
- Interact with senior management at a client and/or organization to steer recommendations and obtain buy-in on matters that may require alternative approaches.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT/Digital technology strategy.
- Relevant consulting experience, or strong in-house IT & Digital strategy/enterprise architecture experience, advanced startup, or pre-sales roles alongside an intrinsic consulting skill set.
- Arabic speakers must be fluent in English.
- Strong data-driven consulting with a focus on business and technology value architecting and realization.
- Ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures for assignments.
- Experience in managing team efforts at a client or within the organization.
- Proven ability to identify and nurture business opportunities.
- Understanding of core technology strategy offerings – IT & Digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, operating model, data & analytics, and cloud.
- Experience in technology advisory and/or implementation.
- Ability to operate across industries, with preferred experience in Banking, Telcos, Oil & Gas, and/or Government.
- Proactively acquired business knowledge beyond technical roles or via business school (e.g., MBA).
