Telco Cloud Consultant

The company Consulting team is seeking a Telco Cloud Consultant to guide the on-site delivery and implementation of modern company technology for key telco service provider customers, network equipment providers (NEPs), and system integrator (SI) partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role requires a thorough understanding of cloud infrastructures, particularly for containerized and virtual network functions (CNFs and VNF), to enhance customer experience through quality technical guidance and support. The candidate must be based in Saudi Arabia, with a preference for Saudi Nationals.

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert on-site, addressing technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs for customers.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies to meet customer requirements.
• Deliver quality results while managing multiple projects across various industries.
• Keep stakeholders informed of relevant issues impacting projects or performance.
• Oversee problem identification, system architecture, software specifications, design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions.
• Provide written documentation for project activities for internal and customer management use.
• Adapt to changing requirements and environments as required by customers.

What you will bring

• Proven experience in consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with enterprise-wide deployments.
• In-depth knowledge of company Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and company cloud technologies, including company OpenShift and company OpenStack.
• Experience within the telco industry is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills for relaying project value, progress, and metrics to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.
• company Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or a commitment to achieve it within 90 days.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% as necessary.
