How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to fulfill engineering requirements.
- Provide technical support during installations and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare project documentation aligned with your scope of deliverables, while delivering quality solutions in line with customer requirements and budget.
- Create work plans within your area of responsibility to ensure timely quality deliverables.
- Assist customers with technical issues, collaborating with official contacts, contractors, and other staff.
- Work alongside the supply chain to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are effectively communicated and agreed upon with suppliers.
- Assign tasks and coordinate efforts with draftsmen, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Participate in design review meetings with consultants or clients to address design-related issues.
- Ensure technical support for project management to promptly respond to customer queries and clarifications.
- Prepare project documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and obtain approvals from utilities for Telecom system design and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines while living the company's core values of safety and integrity.
Your Background:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant industry is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a design and commissioning engineer of SCMS systems.
- Working knowledge and understanding of GPRS systems across various protocols (i.e., IEC101, IEC 103, IEC 104, DNP 3.0, IEC 61850, MODBUS SCMS TCP/IP/Serial, SPABUS Communication, and PLC programming according to IEC61131-3 mainly on FBD, LD via MultiProg ProConOS runtime system).
- Sound experience in IED integration with SCMS/SCADA and Micro SCADA Pro control systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
