Telecom OSS Architect / Designer

About the Role
As a Telecom OSS Architect / Designer, you will be a senior technical authority within our Connectivity & Network Engineering practice, leading the architecture and design of complex OSS solutions for major telecoms clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, working closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendor partners to define and implement best-in-class OSS ecosystems.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key role in:

• Leading end-to-end OSS architecture and design across Network Inventory Management, Performance Management, and Fault/Event Management domains — defining solution blueprints, integration frameworks, and technical roadmaps aligned to client business objectives and industry best practices such as TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, TAM, SID).
• Driving the design and implementation of Network Inventory solutions, including physical, logical, and service inventory modeling, ensuring accurate and real-time representation of network assets across multi-vendor, multi-technology environments (2G/3G/4G/5G, Fixed, IP/MPLS).
• Architecting Performance and Fault Management solutions, overseeing the design of KPI frameworks, threshold management, alarm correlation, and root cause analysis capabilities — enabling proactive network operations and minimizing service impact for telecoms operators.
• Engaging directly with senior client stakeholders to gather and translate complex business and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications, solution architectures, and HLD/LLD documentation, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Leading and governing OSS integration design, defining interfaces and APIs between OSS platforms and adjacent systems including BSS, NMS, EMS, and emerging cloud-native network management platforms — ensuring seamless data flows and operational continuity across the network operations ecosystem.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to a team of OSS engineers and designers, conducting design reviews, driving quality assurance of technical deliverables, and ensuring architectural consistency and compliance with agreed standards across project workstreams.
• Supporting pre-sales and solutioning activities, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and solution demonstrations — bringing deep domain expertise to help shape and win new opportunities across the KSA and wider Middle East telecoms market.

Your Profile
We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Telecom OSS Architect who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capability and a collaborative approach.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on OSS architecture, design, and delivery — including proven expertise in at least two of the following domains: Network Inventory Management, Performance Management, and Fault/Event Management systems, ideally in large-scale, multi-vendor operator environments.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of OSS platforms and tools, such as IBM Tivoli Netcool, Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM/ENIQ, Huawei iMAC/U2000, Comarch OSS, or similar — combined with a strong understanding of OSS/BSS integration patterns, mediation layers, and data modeling techniques for telecoms network domains.
• Strong grounding in TM Forum standards and frameworks (eTOM, TAM, SID/ODA) and familiarity with relevant industry standards including 3GPP, ETSI, IETF, and TMN — with the ability to apply these frameworks pragmatically in real-world solution design and architecture.
• Solid experience with integration technologies and APIs including REST/SOAP web services, TMF Open APIs, OSS/J, XML/JSON data formats, and middleware platforms — with the ability to architect robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions between OSS components and broader network management ecosystems.
• Proficiency in producing high-quality architecture and design artifacts, including Solution Architecture Documents, HLDs, LLDs, interface control documents, data flow diagrams, and operational runbooks — with experience presenting these at both technical and executive levels.
