About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom RF & Network Engineer with proven experience in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RF Engineering, UHF/VHF Radio Systems, and IP Networking. Project experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer RF communication networks for EPC projects.
- Perform frequency planning, link budget calculations, propagation analysis, interference studies, and coverage assessments.
- Work with UHF/VHF radio systems, repeaters, base stations, antennas, handheld/mobile radios, and dispatch systems.
- Support microwave integration and telecom system integration.
- Handle installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecom systems.
- Support IP network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, and switching.
- Apply basic cybersecurity practices including firewalls, access control, and network segmentation.
- Review and develop telecom engineering deliverables, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and multidisciplinary EPC teams throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of Telecom Engineering experience.
- EPC experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of RF Engineering and Radio Communication Systems.
- Hands-on experience with UHF/VHF systems.
- Good understanding of IP Networking and network architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security and industrial communication security.
- Experience preparing/reviewing RF studies, network diagrams, datasheets, material requisitions, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
- Project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
