The company is seeking a Teradata Developer & Data Lakehouse Application Support Engineer. This role involves key responsibilities in platform administration and operations, performance management, data movement, security and access management, and providing support and troubleshooting for Teradata environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Platform Administration & Operations:
- Install, configure, and maintain Teradata Vantage (17.x) environments.
- Manage system components including Viewpoint, QueryGrid, and Data Mover.
- Administer Teradata servers on IntelliFlex appliances and VMware.

Monitoring & Performance Management:
- Monitor system health and query performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement workload management and query optimization strategies.

Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity:
- Configure and manage backup and recovery processes.
- Support disaster recovery setups.

Data Movement & Integration:
- Manage and support data replication and migration.
- Enable cross-platform data access.

Security & Access Management:
- Implement and manage database security and user roles.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.

Patch Management & Upgrades:
- Conduct platform upgrades and system maintenance.

Platform Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide L2/L3 support for production and non-production environments.
- Troubleshoot system and infrastructure-related issues.

Analytics & Advanced Capabilities Support:
- Support advanced analytics and ML workloads.
- Enable integration with analytical tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in Teradata Database Administration (Vantage 16/17.x).
- 5–10 years of relevant Teradata platform support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Teradata Viewpoint, QueryGrid, Data Mover, and BCM.
- Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and workload management.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with REST APIs, CLIv2, and data integration tools.
