Job Description:
Key Responsibilities include:

Enterprise Data Modelling (FSLDM / FSAS):
- Act as the Data Modelling Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Validate, enhance, and govern logical and physical data models.
- Ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency of entities, attributes, hierarchies, and aggregations.
- Resolve data model and semantic inconsistencies impacting reporting and reconciliation.

Teradata Physical Data Architecture:
- Design and optimize physical data models in Teradata Vantage.
- Ensure physical models support high-volume data ingestion, complex analytics, and business-critical reporting.

Performance Optimization & Workload Management:
- Lead query tuning and optimization for Teradata workloads.
- Design and manage Teradata workload management for SLA compliance.

EDW Modernization & Lakehouse Offload:
- Define and implement EDW offload strategies from Teradata to the Data Lakehouse.
- Ensure data consistency and reporting accuracy across platforms.

Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Participate in architecture and data governance forums.
- Work closely with Enterprise/Data Architects and Data Engineers.
Required Skills & Expertise:

Core Technical Skills:
- Teradata Vantage (Architecture, Development, and Optimization).
- Advanced physical data modeling including indexing strategies and partitioning.
- Strong experience in query tuning and Teradata workload management.

Data Modelling & BFSI Expertise:
- Deep hands-on expertise with FSLDM and FSAS.
- Strong understanding of BFSI subject areas such as Core Banking, Loans, Trade Finance, Payments, and Risk & Finance.

EDW Modernization Experience:
- Experience designing and implementing EDW to Lakehouse offload patterns.

Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
Language Requirements:
English proficiency is preferred for effective communication.
