What you will be doing:

  • Leading new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business-to-business sales of the company's software licensing, appliances, and services.
  • Collaborating with the Regional Director to develop and implement specific territory account plans and opportunity plans supporting company goals and quota objectives.
  • Engaging sales resources effectively: SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives in customer account plan development and implementation.
  • Utilizing the CRM system for the development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
  • Managing and driving revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies.
  • Executing complex sales processes and activities.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

What we are looking for:

  • A hunter with extensive and proven IT software sales experience in security software and/or network technologies.
  • Experience in relationship management and new business sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, grow, and take ownership of accounts.
  • A consistent sales background of achievement against quotas.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to C-level/executive level contacts.
  • Proficiency in working with both the Channel and developing business directly.
  • Ability to effectively partner with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and engineers, as well as liaising with external partners at all levels.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in various vertical markets.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
  • Outstanding presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
