What you will be doing:

  • Leading new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business-to-business sales of the company software licensing, appliances, and services.
  • Working with the Regional Director to develop and implement specific territory account plans and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quotas.
  • Engaging effectively with sales resources: SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives to develop and implement customer account plans.
  • Utilizing the CRM system for the development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
  • Managing and driving revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies.
  • Executing complex sales and effectively managing the sales process and activities.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quota.

What we are looking for:

  • A hunter with extensive and proven IT software sales experience, particularly in security software and/or network technologies.
  • Experience in relationship management and new business sales.
  • Proven track record in managing, growing, and taking ownership of accounts.
  • A consistent achievement background against sales quotas.
  • Experience presenting to C-level/executive level contacts.
  • Familiarity with working with the Channel as well as developing business directly.
  • Ability to effectively partner and engage with internal sales resources, including specialists and engineers, while liaising with external partners at all levels.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience across various vertical markets.
  • Good analytical and forecasting abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
