We are looking for a Territory Solutions Engineer to join our Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team for the Sub Saharan Africa region. This role is about ensuring that our customers receive maximal business value and a fit-for-purpose solution design, alongside efficient adoption roadmaps. You will be the technical customer advocate within the company, working closely with various teams—Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support—to create scalable solutions that address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as a technical advocate for customers
  • Collaborate across teams to drive customer success
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Internet performance and security technology
  • Provide resources and training necessary for the role

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Afrikaans is a plus
  • Project management experience with the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Empathy for customers and ability to identify challenges quickly
  • Solid understanding of Internet fundamentals (e.g., TCP & UDP, DNS)
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape in areas such as DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, and Zero-Trust/SASE
  • Willingness to travel (10-15 days per quarter)
  • Previous pre-sales or consulting experience (not necessarily in tech)
