About the Job
ByteDance is seeking a Test Development Engineer for our Information Systems team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of internal products including procurement, travel, and expense systems across various platforms such as Web, H5, App, and backend. You will conduct tests based on product requirements, which include test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring product and project progress, assisting in product version iterations and releases, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
You will analyze, locate, and track issues discovered during testing, promoting timely resolutions. A strong awareness of test automation and tooling is essential, enabling you to identify and implement suitable technical solutions aligned with business needs.

About the Team
The Information System team is focused on planning and building internal systems for human resources, finance, legal affairs, procurement, and related functions. Our mission is to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs through innovative product development, integrating cutting-edge practices and artificial intelligence technologies into our solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer-related fields.
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English, both written and oral.
- Over three years of testing experience with a familiarity in the software R&D process.
- Systematic testing analysis and design capabilities with experience in test case design.
- Proficiency in using packet capture tools such as Charles and Fiddler, along with MySQL database skills.
- Solid coding foundation with proficiency in at least one of Java, Go, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit, capable of closely collaborating with production and research teams.
- Familiarity with internal products and experience testing ERP-related systems is preferred.
