Responsibilities
- Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering requirements and provide technical support for installation and testing/commissioning activities.
- Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables and providing quality solutions as per customer requirements, delivering within budget and contract.
- Creating work plans in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost, assisting customers with technical issues, and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff.
- Collaborating with the supply chain function to ensure technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed upon with potential suppliers.
- Assigning tasks to and coordinating with draftsman, technicians, and administrative staff, participating in design review meetings with consultants or clients to resolve design-related issues, and ensuring technical support for project management to address customer clarifications.
- Explaining and discussing the company technical solutions to customers while maintaining strong relationships and a clear understanding of job details.
- Preparing project documentation for FAT and SAT, testing Telecom Systems, conducting FAT and SAT, and obtaining approvals from utilities for design and commissioning activities of Telecom Systems.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry is preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience as a design and commissioning engineer of SCMS systems.
- Working knowledge and understanding of GPRS systems on various protocols (i.e., IEC101, IEC 103, IEC104, DNP 3.0, IEC 61850, MODBUS SCMS TCP/IP/Serial, SPABUS Communication) and PLC programming according to IEC61131-3 (mainly on FBD, LD via MultiProg ProConOS runtime system) is required.
- Sound experience in IED integration with SCMS/SCADA and Micro SCADA Pro control systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
