Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, repair, and routine tests (Mechanical, 10KV, HV, functional & resistance measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
- Fulfill orders related to work packages according to production data and instructions.
- Self-check work package results, filling out and confirming assigned checklists and protocols.
- Target the best performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time.
- Conduct quality control and immediately escalate quality issues; record deviations, support root cause failure, and write quality problems/non-conformance reports.
- Gather product improvement comments/feedback from the GIS local service center engineers.
- Actively support teamwork, effectively communicate, and collaborate with internal customers/stakeholders/colleagues.
- Follow factory rules & guidelines related to safety, quality, environment, recycling, and housekeeping.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following the company-HSE guidelines and reporting any irregularities to superiors.
- Contribute actively to the continued improvement process and Lean culture.
- Provide feedback and share ideas and observations whenever possible.
- Handle factory equipment and tools properly, maintain test equipment, and sustain proper continuous calibration.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Live the company core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years' experience in laboratory or testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and material lists.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
