Testing Technician

The opportunity is for a Testing Technician to join Hitachi Energy in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will perform HV testing activities according to prepared test instructions, drawings, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all required test instructions and protocols during testing activities, strictly following safety rules and regulations, applying lean manufacturing methods (5S, 8 Wastes, Kaizen, etc.), reporting safety hazards using the “Intelex” tool, reporting quality issues in SAP/MES, and reading HV drawings.

You will need to complete required training courses (e.g., Safety, Lean Six Sigma “white belt,” etc.) and actively communicate and collaborate with colleagues. Additionally, you will be expected to carry out any tasks assigned by management to fulfill job requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Symbols, Schematic and Mechanical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
• Readiness to work shifts.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
