Testing Technician

The opportunity exists for a Testing Technician to join Hitachi Energy's High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all testing activities of capacitor banks (HV), ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity, while meeting all required standards.

Location: Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

Work Conditions: Full-time

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform HV testing activities following prepared test instructions, drawings, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
• Adhere to all required test instructions and protocols during testing activities.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations throughout all activities.
• Utilize lean manufacturing methods (5S, 8 Wastes, Kaizen, etc.)
• Report safety hazards using the Intelex tool and quality issues via NCR in SAP/MES.
• Interpret HV drawings accurately.
• Complete required training courses (Safety, Lean Six Sigma “white belt”, etc.).
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management to fulfill job requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Symbols, Schematic, and Mechanical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
