The successful candidate will function as a Field Engineer with the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense System in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). You will perform field and sustainment level maintenance under the THAAD Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program, supporting the lifecycle sustainment of THAAD associated hardware for the UAE. Your responsibilities will include providing advice, assistance, on-the-job training, and instruction to users on the operation and maintenance of the THAAD system. This includes troubleshooting maintenance, integration, and supply problems, as well as aiding customers in the operation and maintenance of the THAAD Fire Control & Communication (TFCC) Systems and Launching Station.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field and sustainment level maintenance support to UAE THAAD Fire Units.
- Manage and monitor the maintenance and sustainment program, including scheduling services and system upgrades.
- Execute maintenance actions and troubleshooting procedures, including software and hardware issues.
- Create, update, and complete Maintenance Actions within allotted time.
- Maintain and calibrate special tools and equipment, and support peculiar support equipment inspections.
- Conduct annual maintenance on all missile rounds in the UAE.
- Work in austere environments with limited amenities.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of technician experience in field and sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- U.S. citizenship and possession of a U.S. Passport.
- Active security clearance SECRET level or higher, with a successful background check.
- Ability to meet residency requirements for the UAE.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with THAAD or Patriot Systems.
- Knowledge of network configurations (LAN, WAN, IP address schemes).
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with Unix and Linux operating systems.

- English proficiency is expected.
