About the Job:
The successful candidate will function as a Field Engineer with the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense System out of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). You will perform field and sustainment level maintenance type support under the THAAD Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program. As a THAAD CLS member, you will support the lifecycle sustainment of THAAD associated hardware belonging to the UAE.

Your responsibilities will include providing advice, assistance, on-the-job training, and instruction to users on the operation and maintenance of equipment and in the resolution of maintenance, integration, troubleshooting, and supply problems. You will aid the customer in the operation and maintenance of the THAAD Fire Control & Communication (TFCC) Systems and THAAD Launching Station in accordance with established Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Technical Manuals (TMs), policies, procedures, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to UAE THAAD Fire Units.
- Support the customer in managing and monitoring the maintenance and sustainment program, including scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications.
- Perform all maintenance actions and troubleshooting procedures that are beyond the scope of the Enhanced Operator/Maintainers (EOM).
- Maintain proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) in support of UAE THAAD Battery sustainment operations.
- Support corrosion prevention measures and Missile Prevention and Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of technician experience with field and sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- U.S. citizenship and possess an active security clearance at the SECRET level or higher.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal and credit.
- Ability to meet residence requirements in the United Arab Emirates.
- CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it.
Language Requirements:
