About the Role
The company Bermuda Branch was created to address the estate preservation and life insurance needs of high-net-worth clients. This branch specifically caters to distribution partners in the International High Net Worth Life Insurance market. As part of the team, you will report to the Titles Manager and closely collaborate with Case Management and Distribution teams.

Position Responsibilities
- Review policy ownership structures including individuals, entities, and trusts, identifying ultimate beneficial owners for risk assessment.
- Conduct client risk assessments ensuring the appropriate level of due diligence has been provided to satisfy regulatory requirements at the time of onboarding and for in-force policy changes.
- Review legal collateral assignment documents, noting any discrepancies between the submitted document and approved versions, ensuring it is in good order prior to acknowledgment.
- Meet established service standards in terms of turnaround time and quality, while prioritizing urgent cases and critical issues.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of business processes.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Understanding of due diligence requirements for individuals, entities, and trusts.
- Knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations as well as Bermuda AML/ATF regulations under Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong technical competence with systems/databases/Microsoft Office.
- Independent, with the ability to take accountability for actions.
- Sensitivity and adaptability to international and cultural differences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree preferred.
- Previous life insurance industry knowledge would be an asset.
- Minimum of one year experience working in a financial institution with responsibility for carrying out client due diligence reviews.
