Trade & FX Specialist- SME -FX

The Trade & FX Specialist is responsible for achieving trade revenue as per approved KPIs and driving profitability and market penetration of existing products, including cross-selling FX, Insurance, and Secured TWC. This role involves formulating trade sales strategies with the business team for Trade Finance products and participating in sales calls to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a streamlined internal process for better customer experience and servicing of Business Banking customers while reducing turnaround time.
• Work closely with Operations, Legal, Business, Financial Institutions, and Risk teams to enhance customer service and ensure audit preparedness.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on KYC, Compliance, and AML, structuring deals according to client needs and ensuring compliance with AML/CFT policies.
• Attend Trade Product Training and Enhanced Due Diligence as applicable.
• Monitor productivity, portfolio, and profitability of the product for the segment, increasing customer penetration for sustained revenue growth.
• Coach and guide colleagues and peers, upskilling junior staff and new joiners in trade product knowledge and processes.
• Engage with clients to prevent complaints and ensure adequate knowledge of the Trade product range among front-line staff.
• Suggest feedback and inputs to the product team on campaigns based on analytics and assist in designing and developing new products.
