About the Role
The company is building a trading desk in Dubai focused on early-stage protocols and new trading venues. The desk assesses and onboards new venues and protocols, curates Morpho vaults, and sources trading opportunities across centralized and on-chain markets. Sitting on the desk between Tech and Trading, you will own venue and protocol onboarding, the risk tooling behind our Morpho vault curation, opportunity sourcing, and the desk's technical backlog. You will be the main technical point of contact for Trading, Sales, Ops, and the DeFi team, and will work closely with the Exchange Connectivity team to take integrations to production.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess new trading venues and early protocols by evaluating venue APIs and protocol contracts.
- Build and test first integrations, and work with the Exchange Connectivity team to take them to production; monitor venue performance after launch and flag issues.
- Build and improve risk monitoring and alerting for our Morpho vault curation, covering utilization, collateral health, oracle behavior, and liquidation exposure.
- Automate routine checks so the desk can react quickly to market conditions.
- Track new listings, venues, yield sources, and pricing gaps across centralized and on-chain markets.
- Size the best ideas, outline risks and requirements, and present clear go/no-go proposals to the desk.
- Own the desk’s technical backlog: keep it clear, agree on priorities with Trading, Sales, Ops, and the DeFi team, and make sure requests are delivered.
Requirements
Must Have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or similar.
- Strong, demonstrable Python skills, applied to opportunity sourcing, risk tooling, venue integrations, and testing.
- Read-level Solidity, sufficient to judge protocol and vault risk before the desk commits capital.
- Hands-on experience with exchange APIs and/or DeFi protocols.
- Solid understanding of crypto markets: spot, perpetuals, and DeFi (AMMs, lending).
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Preferred
- TypeScript, for working with early protocols that only ship TypeScript SDKs.
- Read-level Rust, for reading Exchange Connectivity code and writing precise requests.
