Responsibilities
- Monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk
- Contributing to the automated trading operations codebase
- Managing ongoing projects with various support teams
- Coordinating software and hardware upgrades
- Applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations
- Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
- Strong software development skills in Python
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions
- Strong working knowledge of P&L and risk reporting applications
- Familiarity with current market structures and regulatory developments
- Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minimal guidance
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of trading technology and fluency in technical concepts
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
