Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Participate in structured internal and on-the-job training in DCS, SCADA, ESD, RTU, and other industrial control systems to develop technical skills.
  • Support site service, project, and maintenance activities related to DCS, ESD, and RTU/SCADA systems at customer locations.
  • Assist Lead Engineers with basic design engineering, including system configuration, graphics development, cabinet design, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and related documentation.
  • Support installation, system configuration, loop checking, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Develop practical knowledge of process instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and industrial automation technologies.
  • Prepare basic technical reports and maintain accurate project and training records.
  • Comply with company and customer Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, and work procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties related to the training program as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Process Control, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • Omani national.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with limited relevant experience are preferred.
  • Willingness to work at customer sites and project locations.
  • Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and learning abilities.

  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and technical documentation.
