About the Role
the company is seeking a Transformation Office Governance Lead to embed the Transformation Office within the domain's delivery model. This role will oversee governance cadence, prioritization, and quarterly commitments, while providing the Transformation Office with a real-time view of delivery. The Governance Lead will report to the Transformation Office and is positioned within the domain leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chair the domain scrum of scrums and represent the domain in the cross-domain forum, driving blockers and actions to closure.
  • Oversee domain prioritization by challenging new demands, arbitrating trade-offs, and maintaining a ranked backlog based on value and capacity.
  • Provide end-to-end support for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), including data packs, narratives, prioritization cases, capacity plans, and dependency maps.
  • Ensure adherence to QBR outcomes by translating decisions into roadmaps, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and squad backlogs, tracking them through the quarter.
  • Monitor the delivery of the domain's strategic projects in alignment with the committed roadmap, focusing on milestones, dependencies, spending, and benefits.
  • Report any delivery drift promptly, including root cause analysis, potential impact on QBR commitments, and a recovery plan.
  • Foster cross-domain collaboration on shared platforms, data, sequencing, and squads.
  • Enforce Transformation Office governance and reporting standards as the single source of truth.
  • Escalate unresolved conflicts, capacity shortfalls, and slippage.

Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in transformation delivery, strategic project or portfolio management, or agile-at-scale program leadership.
  • Proven track record of managing governance cadences such as scrum of scrums and quarterly planning across multiple squads.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews to executive forums.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve cross-functional dependencies and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of enterprise transformation operating models and domain delivery models.
  • Knowledge of agile-at-scale governance frameworks including scrum of scrums, QBR, and roadmaps.
  • Proficient in strategic project and portfolio tracking, including milestones, spending, and benefits.
  • Familiarity with delivery metrics and tooling such as Jira / Azure DevOps, throughput, and burn-up charts.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Agile-at-scale certification preferred, such as SAFe (RTE / SPC), agile coaching, PMP / PgMP.
