About the Role
The Transformation Office Governance Lead is responsible for embedding the Transformation Office within the domain's delivery model. This role involves governing the domain's cadence, prioritization, and quarterly commitments, providing the Transformation Office with a real-time, unfiltered view of delivery. The position reports to the Transformation Office and is part of the domain leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chair the domain scrum of scrums and represent the domain in the cross-domain forum, driving blockers and actions to closure.
  • Oversee domain prioritization by challenging new demand, arbitrating trade-offs, and maintaining a ranked backlog based on value and capacity.
  • Provide end-to-end quarterly business review (QBR) support including data pack, narrative, prioritization case, capacity plan, and dependency map.
  • Ensure adherence to QBR outcomes by translating decisions into roadmap, OKRs, and squad backlogs, tracking them through the quarter.
  • Monitor delivery of the domain's strategic projects against the committed roadmap, including milestones, dependencies, spend, and benefits.
  • Report delivery drift early, including root cause, impact on QBR commitments, and a recovery plan.
  • Coordinate cross-domain collaboration on shared platforms, data, sequencing, and shared squads.
  • Enforce Transformation Office governance and reporting standards as the single source of truth.
  • Escalate unresolved conflicts, capacity shortfalls, and slippage.

Experience

  • 10+ years in transformation delivery, strategic project or portfolio management, or agile-at-scale program leadership.
  • Proven track record of running governance cadences such as scrum of scrums and quarterly planning across multiple squads.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews to executive forums.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve cross-functional dependencies and challenge senior stakeholders.

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with enterprise transformation operating model and domain delivery model.
  • Expertise in agile-at-scale governance, scrum of scrums, QBR, and roadmaps.
  • Understanding of strategic project and portfolio tracking, including milestones, spend, and benefits.
  • Knowledge of delivery metrics and tooling, such as Jira / Azure DevOps, throughput, and burn-up.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Agile-at-scale certification preferred, such as SAFe (RTE / SPC), agile coaching, or PMP / PgMP.
