Key Responsibilities
- Shape the change agenda for WBG across various banking sectors while collaborating with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Manage a portfolio of multiple projects, including their interdependencies, resourcing, and any required changes affecting project priorities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all senior business unit stakeholders, including Group Heads and external vendors, ensuring efficient portfolio communications.
- Identify resourcing needs according to the portfolio plan.
- Facilitate Steering Committees with Executive Committee members to ensure critical changes remain on track for delivery.
- Ensure accuracy of project charters, including change impact assessments and project plans, as well as business requirement documents and project reviews.
- Consult on business cases and UAT strategies, advising Group Heads and direct reports accordingly.
- Oversee the translation of business analysis, requirements definition, and business case production into practical implementation.
- Manage senior stakeholders to uncover and resolve potential conflicts or disagreements regarding project priorities.
- Design effective strategies for change adoption, including training and communications.
- Ensure portfolio resources are adequate to provide necessary operational and strategic capabilities.
- Provide coaching and guidance to respective business units/departments to enhance project and change management effectiveness and support governance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to ongoing and future projects.
- Comply with the latest guidelines from the Central Bank of UAE and contribute to successful internal audits by ensuring timely closure of audit points through procedure realignment.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; postgraduate qualification in business management is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with preferably 10+ years of relevant experience in projects/change management within financial institutions.
