Treasury Murex Consultant-Back Office

Leading Bank in UAE is looking for Murex consultants to support the bank in their treasury division transformation. The consultant will provide technical and functional expertise to implement, configure, and support Murex solutions within a treasury environment.

Responsibilities:

• Engage users to gather, capture, and document requirements on Back Office workflows and accounting treatments for various financial products.
• Analyze requirements and assess feasibility of implementation in Murex.
• Design and configure back office workflows (contracts, events, deliverables, payments, etc.).
• Develop requirements, review technical and functional designs, build and test solutions, and ensure proper closure of different initiatives by taking ownership/accountability end to end.

Skills Required:

• Minimum working experience of 10-12 years.
• 7-12 years of experience in Murex Back Office and workflows.
• Experience with Murex 3.1 platform.
• Familiarity with multiple asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives, and Exotics.
• In-depth knowledge of different objects in Murex and their workflows.
• Ability to support workflows including contracts, deliverables, events, exchange objects, and interfaces.
• Full understanding of objects' lifecycles, building confirmation templates, and SWIFT messages.
• Good understanding of SWIFT messaging configuration and Murex 3.1 workflows, including MxML, trade workflow, contract workflow, and exchange workflow.
